The Journal includes reference to the Nice classification when the goods or services of an application have been grouped and classed by the applicant in accordance with the current version and edition of the Nice Classification. The filing date of each trademark application advertised in the Trade-marks Journal, including those to extend the statement of goods or services of an existing registration, is shown next to the application number in the sequence of Year, Month and Day. Any registration resulting from the application will be restricted to these goods or services described therein. If the language of the application is French, the goods, services, or other text and description appearing in the English version of the Journal have been translated. If the language of the application is English, the goods, services, or other text and description appearing in the English version of the Journal are in the language filed by the applicant. The application details are displayed based on the language of the application. The Journal is available in English and in French.
